The weather is finally getting nicer, and warmer weather always gets me excited for summer fashions! The staples everyone in shopping for is dresses and shorts. I’ve never been a huge fan of shorts, opting instead for a great summer skirt! A skirt for summer, is a classic piece that elevates any look and comes in so many colors and patterns and is easy to style. Why would I settle for a boring pair of shorts? For this summer I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect leopard print skirt. If you follow my blog you know I’m a fan of this print and I love infusing it into my wardrobe any way I can. You can imagine my excitement when I found this leopard wrap skirt at a local boutique. I recently discovered this boutique, Apricot Lane in Pinecrest. Daytime looks are my favorite ways to style a skirt. I typically add a great graphic tee and give it a little front tie and I’m good to go. Although, with the busy print of the skirt, I decided to keep it simple and colorful with a basic lavender tank. You can easily substitute any color of your choice or even style it with a basic tee with a great statement necklace. Grab your favorite crossbody bag and a perfect denim layering piece and you are ready to conquer the day in this easy daytime look!
After a busy day of running around and enjoying the sun, I decided to keep it simple and classic when styling a look for night time. I added one of my favorite heeled sandals for summer and a black basic, exposed back top and I’m ready for a date night with the hubby at one of our favorite local spots! For more great styling options, you can also add an off the shoulder top or a cute crop top for a girls night out look!
