Cozy Cardi, Three Ways!

It’s been awhile since I styled one piece three ways on the blog, so on today's blog I thought I’d share how I styled one of my favorite winter layering pieces, the cozy cardi! I have several longer length cardi's in all colors and styles. For the cold weather months my go to is my chunky knit cardi’s. They keep you warm and it pairs easily with many items in my closet. During the cold weather months I’m all about keeping it easy and warm and the three looks I’ve created do just that. I know every girl out there has her favorite knit cardi and I hope my blog post today inspires you when styling this basic winter piece!
For this post I chose my chunky dark green cardi. I have different shades of black, tan, and grey cardi's, so this is my attempt at adding a little color to my look! This color is currently sold out but I linked the exact same one offered in three other colors and I've found one in a similar color just in case you were craving the dark green!
My Cardi: Old Navy
Similar One: Kohl's

Look One: Everyday Style

Tee (Gap), Denim (Old Navy), Boots (DSW)

For my job as a visual merchandiser I have a lot of early morning wake up calls and I’m all about keeping it simple with a t-shirt and jeans. Now that winter weather is here it's all about layering and that's where I’ve added my favorite cardi into the mix, to add some color and of course warmth!

Look Two: Baby/Wedding Shower Ready

Dress (H&M: sold out but found the same dress in black) Boots (Target)

As I get older it seems like everyone is either getting married or having a baby and there is always a party to go to. I love to get a little fancy for these events but I like to stay warm as well. By styling my green cardi with my favorite floral dress I’m able to achieve just that and look great at the same time!
This look would also be great with some tights and a cute pair of flats for a business casual office look too!

Look Three: Casual Drinks with Friends

Cami (Loft: Sold Out but found a similar one) Boots (Target) Scarf (Fetch & Co.: my favorite local boutique but if your not from the CLE here is a similar one from Amazon)

Now that I’m a mama, I basically live in sweats, so I love to get dressed up even if I'm meeting for a cozy cocktail hour with one of my friends. Pairing my cardi with my faux leather leggings and a shear tank is an easy and comfortable girls night out look!
