One Skirt, Three Ways!

I love finding that perfect piece to add to my wardrobe, and today I’m sharing this amazing hot pink, pleated, midi skirt I found at Target! I’m always on the lookout for specific pieces I want to add to my wardrobe. For awhile I’ve been looking for the perfect hot pink skirt. I know its a little unconventional piece to want, but I got inspired way back in 2012. I first saw Olivia Munn sporting a hot pink pencil midi with a cute blue lace top. (Who remembers that far back? Saved the pic on my pinterest board, Duh!) I loved how simple yet fun the pop of color added to a look. I’ve tried on many pink skirts before I found this beauty.
What I love about it is the midi length, it's a classic cut that tones down the brightness of the piece. I also love that it's more of a flowy skirt and not a pencil. We all know I have a few extra pounds I’m still working on post baby and this skirt masks it perfectly. The other big selling point is the versatility of the piece. You all know I love a good versatile piece I can mix and match with my wardrobe. Mix and match pieces really are the best to add because they not only help you style your wardrobe but they help you save money for those more pricier pieces, like shoes!
Now I know for some of you your probably thinking “ how versatile can a hot pink skirt be? It seems like a trendier piece.” Well I am here to show you three easy looks you can achieve with this luminous piece!

Look #1:Easy Daytime Look
By simply adding a basic navy tank and some fun accessories, I created an easy and comfortable look. This look is  perfect for any day time fun you find yourself in!

Look #2: Killer Nighttime Look
Grab your favorite leather jacket and a fun graphic and you have the perfect look to meet your girls for drinks!
Top: Emily Roggenburk Faux Leather Jacket: Target Heels: Target Ring: Betsey Johnson

Look #3: Work Day Look
Now I realize as someone working in retail this is an easy work day look, but if your in more of an office setting switch out the Chambray for a more tailored button up and feel free to tuck in your top and you’re  good to go!
Shirt: Old Navy Shoes: Found these beauties at Target five years ago and still love them!

I hope I inspired you to be bold in a hot pink midi and feel free to share your stylings with this awesome piece!
