In September fellow blogger and friend Amanda (closetedfashion.blogspot.com) wrote a blog on how for a whole month she styled outfits from her own closet and didn’t spend money on anything new. When I read this blog I was inspired.
Recently my husband (#whatsjaywearing) and I gained custody of his 16 year old, twin sisters. This was an addition to our family that brought happiness as well as some financial strains on our household expenses. As a fashionista I have a healthy addiction for shopping, but with a tight budget I found I needed to limit myself and my shopping. When I saw Amanda’s blog post it got me thinking on how I can possibly reuse and recycle some of my pieces and make them fresh and new for the season.
For the month of November follow me while I style outfits from my very own closet and not spend a penny on anything new. Let’s see if my closet is up for the challenge for “No Spend November!” Feel free to follow me in this challenge and post #nospendnovemberlooks!
